Cookie Settings
Last updated: June 2026
The German version of these Cookie Settings is authoritative. This English version is provided for convenience and transparency only.
Your preferences
Adjust what you share whenever you like. Changes take effect the moment you save — necessary items stay on, always.
1. Your Decision
On this website, you can decide which optional traces you wish to leave.
The website also works if you reject optional analytics, interaction or marketing services.
You can change your selection at any time.
2. Principle
- Optional analytics, UX or marketing tags are loaded only after you have given consent.
- You can reject optional categories as easily as you can accept them.
- Non-essential categories are not preselected.
- Technically necessary settings remain active so that the website functions and your selection can be stored.
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
3. Categories
Necessary — the Essential Minimum
Status: always active
This category includes functions that are necessary for the website or for settings selected by you.
This includes in particular:
- language,
- theme,
- cookie and consent selection,
- basic technical functions,
- security and stability functions.
These data essentially remain in your browser and are not used for advertising tracking.
Legal basis:
- Section 25(2) TDDDG,
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Statistics — Anonymous Statistics
Status: optional
This category helps me understand whether a page has been read, which content works and where the website can be improved technically or editorially.
Possible services:
- Google Analytics 4,
- Cloudflare Web Analytics,
- Vercel Analytics,
- Umami.
The aim is to identify broad and, wherever possible, aggregated usage patterns, not to identify individual persons.
Legal basis for services requiring consent:
- Section 25(1) TDDDG,
- Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Usability and Interaction — Operability and Interaction
Status: optional
This category helps me understand how visitors move through the website and where the user experience can be improved.
Possible services:
- Microsoft Clarity,
- Hotjar,
- Contentsquare.
Depending on configuration, these services may record heatmaps, clicks, scrolling behaviour and session replays. They are therefore activated only if you consent.
The services are configured, where technically available, so that sensitive entries, confidential form content and personal free-text inputs are not recorded.
Legal basis:
- Section 25(1) TDDDG,
- Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Marketing / Professional Reach — Professional Visibility
Status: optional
This category helps me assess whether this website is perceived in professional contexts.
Possible service:
- LinkedIn Insight Tag.
I do not receive a named list of individual visitors. Depending on LinkedIn’s configuration, however, data may be processed by LinkedIn and linked to LinkedIn services.
Legal basis:
- Section 25(1) TDDDG,
- Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
4. Withdrawal
You may withdraw consent at any time.
Withdrawal applies for the future. Processing that was lawful before withdrawal remains unaffected.
5. Storing Your Selection
When you save your selection, your decision is stored locally in your browser. This allows the website to respect the categories you have allowed.
If you delete your browser data, use another device or use another browser, you may need to make a new selection.
6. Managing Cookie Settings
You can change or withdraw your cookie and tracking settings at any time.
In the cookie settings, you can in particular:
- reject all optional categories,
- accept all optional categories,
- select categories individually,
- save your selection,
- change your decision later.
Access to the cookie settings remains permanently available, for example through a link in the footer under “Cookie Settings”.
7. Further Information
The map view is loaded only when you actively open it and is not controlled by the analytics or marketing settings managed here.
